Jay-Z concert x Seattle
Jay-z is like an ex boyfriend I still have feelings for. Although I don’t like the direction that he has gone in (with the exception of American Gangster) since our breakup (his retirement), our past memories still makes me feel deeply in love with him. So when I heard he was coming to Seattle, the first time in a decade, I had to make the drive and show some love.

I drove

They slept

Tired eyes after the drive in the crazy rain.

We got lost and found ourselves by the river and decided to take some pictures. Dom showing you his money maker.

Quai looking all touched by an angel and shit.

Dom looking happy and scary at the same time

Sun in the eye

We found ourselves hanging around Key Arena for 2 hours in the freaking cold with nothing to do but take pictures lol.

Quai did an outfit change.

Pocket size Asian

This reflective purple wall kept us entertained for awhile.

Hours later, we finally made it to our seats! Yay!
I didn’t take any pictures of the concert since I like to fully be in the moment and enjoy myself instead of worrying about taking pictures and videos but here are some youtube vids of the concert.
The crowd energy was CRAZE!!! Sold out show and I did not a see a single person sitting down during Hov’s entire set, not even the nose bleeders, not even during intermission. Openers for the Glow in the Dark tour was better and visually GITD was better but energy wise, this concert killed it. I saw a lot of Portlanders in the building representing. The crowd made this concert live. I had the time of my life. Thank you Seattle for being such a good host. We will be back soon!

Thanks Quai for providing some of the pictures in this post
Loopwheeler
Having been sick for the last week or so, I’ve spent all my free time in bum mode. Bum mode = sweats, t shirt, and messy hair. Extremely attractive, I know! I grew very fondly to a particular pair of sweats: my Nike x Loopwheeler sweatpants.

Loopwheeler is known to be the best fleece producer in the world. The Japanese based brand uses vintage looms to knit their fleeces providing a high quality product unparallel to any other.

The fleece is very thick, long lasting, and washes well. Not to mention the tiny loops feels very great against your skin.
The video above shows the unique technique used by the Loopwheeler factory. Because of the low amount of material produced a day, Loopwheeler products can cost 10x more than your pair of average sweats. Luxury sweats, who would have thought?

Luckily for me, I was able to grab these $200 sweats for only $10 at a sample sale. Also pictured is a Nike x Grotesk bomber for $15. Although I have no idea when I will be wearing the bomber, I couldn’t resist it at that price. Oh the perks!
Balling on a budget; American Apparel
Every year, American Apparel throws a flea market event at their LA factory. Thousands of Angelenos line up for a chance to get American Apparel product a huge discounted price.

This year American Apparel is taking their flea market on the road! Yesterday they set up shop at Portland State University. I got a chance to drop by and do some shopping. This is what I came home with:

- A red and navy reversible bubble coat
- 3 circle scarf
- Some knee high socks (not pictured)
All of that for 30 buckaroos. WOOHOO for bargains!! I am most excited about the circle scarfs which can be worn 10 different ways.

American Apparel will also be making a few more stops at different college campuses on the west coast. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.
